Flight Musings Part 4: Reverence

A prayer:

Abba, prepare my heart for what you would have on this trip. Give me courage and endurance and strength, compassion and empathy and tenderness. Please, heal hurting hearts. Somehow, fix this crisis. Restore families; restore lives. Redeem as only you can. Guide the leaders of all the countries involved; give them wisdom. Let them be good, strong leaders. Reunite families; heal trauma; provide safety. For our churches - may we love. May we know you more, may we love you more - and may we love our neighbor better. Give us hearts that care and eyes that see, hands that work. For the non-profits and those in the trenches - give them endurance, courage, and a steadfast belief that they are not alone. For me - make me an instrument of your mercy. May I fix my eyes on you. Perfect my faith. Ground and establish me in love. I love you!
