Prayers at the Wall: Day 1

After finishing our time with Border Patrol, we ate lunch and learned more about the history of the Northern Triangle (see previous posts). We then drove to the border wall itself and stepped out to pray about and reflect on and honor all that has transpired along this edge of the United States.
Agape Creative Studios and Holy Resistance designed a booklet of prayers that we walked through during this time, some prayers for allies and some for immigrants. We prayed through these while we stood there, humbled. I’ll be posting these prayers every day this week - if interested, feel free to use these prayers yourself this week in your own time with the Lord.
We serve a God who is faithful, who is good, who is kind, and who is just. He brought about the ultimate healing by providing a path for us to have a restored relationship with Him (if you want to talk more about this, let me know!!). And now, we get to play a role in restoring relationships with others. What an honor that we can pray, talk to the Creator of the universe. May we be faithful to the work we have been called to - may we love.
